It seems that Castle (Nathan Fillion) is going to have a tough time being, well, Castle this season. "She's not warm and cuddly," Seamus Deaver, who plays Detective Kevin Ryan, says of new boss Gates. "So the days of us being protected, and the days of Castle being very welcome at the precinct are over." Castle exclusive: Meet Castle and Beckett's new boss! Captain Gates won't immediately cotton to the mystery writer-turned-homicide detective's unorthodox style. In fact, his lack of formal police training may mean his days of tagging along with the team are numbered. "She's very much by the book; she doesn't take any shortcuts and she doesn't know Castle," Tamala Jones, who plays medical examiner Lanie Parish, says. "Castle had a relationship with the mayor and Captain Montgomery, and [Gates] doesn't have a relationship with the mayor, so some of his privileges might be getting cut. After her close call with a bullet (at a funeral no less), she'll start to realize just how much her dad is putting on the line for his side job. "Castle's not only risking his own life, he's risking Alexis' life, he's risking her grandmother's life. Alexis just wants him to realize that," Quinn says. "She thinks that by making him realize that, he'll back down. As she tries to get that across — what's even more scary — is that it's getting across, but he's like, 'I'm still going to do it. I still have to do this.'" I watched Scenes From The Suburbs recently. I thought it was a great,
great movie(but then again, most die hard Arcade Fire fans would say
that). So coincidentally, I found a VCR copy of "Over The Edge" just
today. I started watching the movie. And I noticed the "New Granada"
sign during the movie. Arcade Fire had used the "New Granada(Cult
Classic 1979) trailer" as an intro to a concert I went to(April 24th,
UIC Pavilion, anyone?). I watched the movie further more, and most of
the scenes looked just like scenes from the movie and their music
video of "The Suburbs". So all I'm asking is, did Spike Jonze make
this movie in inspiration of "Over The Edge"? Or is it really a modern
interpretation of the movie?

best video editing program for thriller movie...?
alright, so for my visual arts summer assignment, i have decided to do
a thriller movie! sort of scary, but it has good morals behind it
etc., ANYWHO, i have windows movie maker (i know..blech d: ) lol and i
was wondering if i could get a good video editing program for UNDER
$100...you know maybe $50? to make my thriller movie with cool
effects. btw, i have to film during daytime, so if there is a program
to make it look "darker" (like real scary movies..?) yeah. THANKS :D

First I wanna say sorry for the very little information I have. But I
have to figure out what song this is cuz its driving me nuts!
So I have no idea what commercial its for (Ive searched every
commercial I could think of that it would be in on youtube already but
still haven't found it) and I don't see it on tv anymore. I haven't
seen it in maybe a month, Im not sure.
All I can tell you about it is that its a girl singer and in the
beginning of the commercial she goes "Uh uh" and in a little deeper
voice in the background its like "Uhhhhhhh" in a tune then the girl
says "Uh Uh" again.

She either says "uh uh" or "Oh Oh". The first "uh" or "oh" is a higher
pitch then the second one.
And I believe the commercial is like a perfume or maybe for a clothing
store. Im pretty sure it has like a girl walking and she like in a
dress and heels. And I think the colors in the commercial are kinda a
gold color. I dont know. Dont take my word on the commercial part cuz
I dont really remember it but if you can figure out what song it is Id
be Soooo happy:)

i guess i kind of stole my best friends bf and she doesnt really know
yet. i didnt mean to steal him but ive liked him for a long time,
since before they started dating. she didnt seem like she liked him
and he said hes liked me for a couple weeks. she told me she really
misses him and wishes shed been different so they would still be
together. they never kissed or anything and she always rejected his
hugs like she didnt like him. we started going out now without her
knowing since friday. i know its wrong you dont have to tell me that.
